pigsflew (open in a new window)I think the most interesting thing about robotics is how well accepted they are in Japan--it's an interesting psychological puzzle, comparing Western culture to theirs. I don't think robots will be very common outside of factories here anytime incredibly soon. In Japan however, it's just a matter of time, and I don't think it will be very long at all before we'll see personal robotic assistants.

I like robots.No, I'm not terribly skilled. I just mess around with arduino and like to incorporate it in my artwork.
Looking for another nerd to robot dance with. I'm also pretty interested in japenese robots and "convenience" machines. The "pet spa" aka dog/cat washing machine is my favorite.
