For more than just one reason, I think robots are mind-boggling. The fact that creations from the hands and minds of human beings can not only perform tasks that we normally perform, but also perform them in a way that is increasingly indistinguishable from our ways is absolutely incredible. Robots kill our preconceived notions of what defines consciousness
